The Situation
Smashingdarling.com is the largest e-commerce platform for emerging and indie designers who wish to reach customers wherever they are. Smashingdarling provides a boutique storefront for each of its >400 designers. It is to fashion designers what Etzy is to handmade craftsmen and craftswomen.
The Challenge
In 2007, Smashingdarling realized its performance was below industry standard. Smashingdarling founders wished to increase conversion rate.
The Solution
Ustrategy was contracted to help analyze the situation and come up with a strategy that would address the situation. We conducted a brand audit and an analysis of the website’s performance and identified key barriers to success.
